BCF Enjolique Remember Me, aka Memri (CSI# Coo650-08)

Memri hails from Lisa Wytiaz's Bash Curl Farm II, in Georgia.  Memri was born May 26, 2010, Memorial Day, hence a piece of her name.  She is a solid, rich, mahogany bay color, except for a star.  Memri's dam is the lovely, extreme curly mare, BCF Exantheous Keoke, from the internationally famed Spartacus line.  Memri's sire is the Dutch Warmblood, Ruben O, who has produced one of the highest percentage of First Premium RPSI foals of any stallion in that registry. Ruben O is by Ulft, one of the greatest European dressage stallions, here is a link to his obituary: (http://www.eurodressage.com/news/breeding/kwpn/2005/ulft.html).   Memri is only one example of what Lisa has been able to produce through many years of very careful, select breeding and training for the highest quality, top performing Curly Sporthorses in the World today.  It is with great honor that we have Memri join our herd here at Skygazer Ranch.  Thank You Lisa of Bash Curl Farm II!!!

Xandra (Xandra of the Stars, CSI and ICHO pending)-

Xandra is the sweetest, most people oriented horse you will ever meet.  She absolutely loves everyone.  Xandra was born November 20, 2006.  She is, of course, not in the riding program, however she is in the Experiential Learning program.  She is going through a lot of ground work and behavior training, although she seems to have an old soul and knows everything we have to show her.  She delights in her lessons and soaks them in with startling rapidity.  Xandra is that once in a lifetime find as far as horses go, what some call a "heart-horse" for me, kind of like finding your equine soul mate.  Xandra is also what is known as an extreme curly horse, meaning she has super amazing, thick, Curls covering her entire body, she looses the majority of her mane and top of her tail hair in the summertime, but grows back amazing ringlets each winter, she is suspected homozygous for Curls, which we are looking forward to finding out if that is true when we breed her to So Rare, an internationally renowned dressage champion, jet black, Hungarian Warmblood, standing here in WA state at Liberty Sporthorses, for a Summer of 2011 foal.  We are so excited to have her here at Skygazer Ranch and are eagerly looking forward to her future and all of the amazing things we know she will accomplish.

Lyra (Warrior's Phantom, ABC 3338)-

Lyra is a gray grulla color and is 14.3HH.  Sadly the gray part of her color means her dorsal stripe, leg bars, and shoulder stripes will eventually disappear completely and she will just look like a white horse, but for now, her markings are quite striking!!  Lyra is an exceptionally sweet horse, she adores children and will follow them around like a puppy dog.  Lyra's gentle disposition is a bit lost when she encounters cows though, as one of her favorite past times is herding the Highlander Cows who also reside here, she gets rather animated about the whole process!!  Lyra is in our riding program as well as our Experiential Learning program.

Lyra had her first foal, sired by Rhys, July 23, 2009.  She is a wonderful Mom and has given us an absolutely stunning, intelligent, curious, and very social dark gray filly, Rogue Sky Warrior.  We couldn't be more happy with this incredible individual! We have high hopes for this exceptional filly's future both working cows, out on the trails, and in future riding programs!

Epona (ABC-P-1544(F))-

Epona was the first Curly Horse to come to Skygazer Ranch.  As the herd leader and matriarch of the horses here, it is with great delight that we offer her as one of our riding horses.  Standing at 14.2HH, Epona is a palomino pinto in color.  Epona has the most incredible disposition, she is very sweet with new riders while providing a challenge to more advanced riders.  Epona is the perfect co-instructor for any lessons given here.  Epona also participates in our Experiential Learning program.  Epona presented us with a perfect palomino pinto filly, Rain Dancer Aurora (aka Rora) born on August 10, 2009; sired by Rhys.  We are absolutely in-love with this new addition to our herd, she is fabulous in every way and covered in Curls!  We are very excited about her future here as a riding horse both in dressage and out on the trails!!!! :-)

Tiska (Hungarian Tiska 3 #1232)-

Tiska is the only non Curly Horse on the ranch.  Tiska came to Skygazer Ranch to add to our breeding program.  She has had her first Curly cross foal, Ravyn Sky Flyr , born on August 25, 2009, an exceptionally high quality, lovely, bay filly, sired by Rhys.  We are hoping this particular foal will prove to be what we are looking for in a future Eventing prospect, so far she is very social, incredibly well put together, and dances on her toes Matrix movie style!  Tiska has produced a number of phenomenal Jumping and eventing offspring in the past and we expect no less from this filly!!  Tiska is a magnificent, regal member of the herd who Xandra has taken to like a long lost Aunt.  We are very pleased to have Tiska join us and can not thank Liberty Farms, Sport Horse Company (www.libertysporthorses.com) enough for giving us the opportunity to have Tiska as a part of our breeding program.  Due to a past injury, Tiska is not a riding horse, however, under special circumstances, she will participate in our Experiential Learning programs.

KC's Star (ABC 1990)-

Star is Xandra's mother. At only 13.2HH, Star has the quickest moving feet I've ever seen, yet her back stays absolutely still through air, making her an incredibly smooth horse to ride.  Star's build, lively personality, and movement (although she is not gaited) remind me more of riding Paso Finos than any other type of horse, she is an absolute delight out on the trails!  Star is taking part in our riding program and Experiential Learning program.  Star foaled us a beautiful, black, curly, pony sized colt on August 30, 2009, sired by Rhys.
